Suez Canal traffic data revealed that 304 ships transited the canal, with a total load of 17.9m tonnes, from 21 to 27 May 2016.


An average of 43.42 ships transited the canal per day during that period, with an average load of 2.56m tonnes per day. The average load per ship was about 58,900 tonnes during that period.
